After opening for about a year ago, The Glens immediately
became one of Tagaytay’s favorite wedding destinations. It is no longer
a surprise for us, since they really have that ideal ambience of
romance and nature.
But did you know that before this place turned into a splendid paradise,
it was originally planned as a rest house? According the owner, Ms.
Catherine Jalandoni, they invested for the land in 1997 to put up an
area where their family may have some time to enjoy. In the following
year, they started to plant Mahogany seedlings. And in 2012, from
Singapore the family decided to stay in the Philippines for good. Then,
they thought of this business. The Glens was strategically designed for
special events, especially weddings.
Having all the skills and knowledge in marketing, Ms. Jalandoni was able
to tie-up with the different suppliers to partner with and to promote
this venue. And with Town’s Delight The Caterer,
Ms. Jalandoni felt that they have matched with each other. Both
suppliers benefit each other by all means—the set-up, nature of
clienteles and so forth. No wonder why we already had numbers of events
with them.
What makes it more ideal is that the three and a half hectare land is
handicapped-accessible. Yes, you may spend a garden wedding without the
worry of tripping around the place. They also made sure to make the
venue secured by having enough security personnel and facilities to
avoid any unwanted situations. Parking is always a major factor in
choosing an events venue, that’s why The Glens set-up a wide space for
parking. They also do events one at a time, meaning, once you book your
occasion with them, the whole place is yours. Isn’t that great?
And if you are wondering where their name came from, “The Glens” is not a
person’s name as others assume. It is a word to describe a secluded
valley which perfectly matched the venue. Surrounded by trees and
facilities intended to secure the place with the breeze of Tagaytay,
this place certainly gives couples a great choice in spending a wedding
event, especially with their strategic location which makes them a
better choice for couples who wanted a Tagaytay wedding experience.
That’s why, when you thinking of a venue for your event, consider The
Glens on your list.
